Strategy

1.      To focus on Niche Market.
2.      Strictly Sanskrit! No compromise with the purity of the language.
3.      Better to use Image/Video (mute) and Gesture to express the thing or events for which there is no proper word in Sanskrit, than to use the non Sanskrit word. In course of time a natural Sanskrit word with phonetics will develop for the thing or event. Let the new word be decided by the team of experts in the language.
4.      The script finalized for Sanskrit will be strictly used on the Television screen.
5.      Very natural appearance than the artificial appearance.
6.      Viewers to be targeted: All the people of Bharat/India, Indian Subcontinent, Non Residential Indians and the lovers of Bharat/India.
7.      Communication out of the screen, especially with the Viewers can be in any language, but the communication presented on the screen should be strictly in Sanskrit.
8.      The Television screen should present active and eye-catching color than the dull or poor color.
9.      The human resources providing their service should also have some other primary sources of Income. Expenditure at salary is not feasible at the initial stage. The open source talents (like that used in the development of LINUX Operating system) will be used at the initial steps.
10.  Establishment of Transmittance centres and programme development offices at all the villages where Sanskrit is the spoken language and at all the education centers of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan.
11.  The password of Sanskrit Television will be the ability to Speak/Think/Write in Sanskrit. Anyone with this password can come on the television screen.
12.  Sanskrit Television Program development
                 >>>> Things in which Sanskrit has dominance and better strength.
                        > Things in which Sanskrit is poor.

Why any one will watch the channel, when there are so many channels?

1.      Out of curiosity and enthusiasm
2.      Out of love for the language and the cultural heritage of the country.
3.      To change the taste.
4.      To avail the benefits being provided on the Television: Astrological guidance and the Astrological products at genuine cost, Yoga and Ayurvedic guidance with products at genuine cost, Mantra and Musical therapy, etc.
5.      To learn Sanskrit and the cultural heritage of the Bharat.
6.      To get the lessons for happy and healthy life.

Funding / Cash Inflow

1.      Donations from the effluent Indians and the Friends of Bharat.
2.      Grants from the Central Government and State Governments of India.
3.      Donations from the United Nations Organizations.
4.      Request may also be made to all salaried Indians to donate their one day’s salary for the cause.
5.      Investments by the vested interests, for the products (Related to Astrology, Yoga, Meditation, Sanskrit CD/DVD, Sanskrit Books, Prayer Items, Special food, Planting material for significant plants mentioned in Sanskrit literatures, Indian architect and designs, Jewellery, Dress, Fashion and Furniture, Musical instruments, Mirror, idols, etc.) that will be sold through the Television. Here again no compromise with the purity of the language should be made. Name of the product, Brand and Trade name, prices, other things to be displayed should all be strictly in Sanskrit.
6.      Advertisements: Products name, Brand name, message to be communicated must be strictly in Sanskrit.
7.      I expect a good business out of the telemarketing of the ethical products of the Sanskrit era. Here the strategy should be High Volume and Low Margin.
8.      If some of the existing Ayurvedic companies like Dabur, Baidyanath, Himalaya etc. shows an interest in selling some of their products on the Sanskrit television, their products will be repacked and relabeled with the Sanskrit packing level, Sanskrit brand name,  Sanskrit registration number, etc. and then will be marketed on the channel.
9.      Putting special donation box for Sanskrit channel in the temples and vegetarian hotels.

Cash Outflow

  2. Development of the Telecasting network.
  3. Eye Catching Presentations on the Television Screen (for that help/service can be taken from the software companies like Adobe, Corel, Windows, Linux, etc.)

  5. Supporting the Human Resources that are sharing/donating their services.
  6. Recruitment and Salary to the staffs.
  7. Sanskrit Program development.
  8. Marketing
  9. Promoting Research and Development in Sanskrit.
Program Development

  1. The rich Sanskrit literary works of nearly 2000 years are enough to provide materials for the programs for at least few years.
  1. Help should also be taken from the Chandamama’s Sanskrit division, Mysore’s Sanskrit newspaper, Staffs and intellectuals from the Prasar Bharati’s Sanskrit division-Radio and Television.
  1. Debate and Discussion on why usage of Sanskrit as a language declined.  (Whether due to more emphasis on Philosophy and Religion than to enhancing the warfare skills and strength? Any impact of Vatsyan’s Kamsutra on enhancing the indulgence habits of the kings and warriors? Or what else?)
  1. Astrology programs like auspicious time of marriage, copulation, so as to get the child birth in good Rasi and Nakshatra, etc.
  1. A website will be developed for the channel. The URL address of the website will be in Sanskrit scripture. The Email IDs shown on the screen will also be in the Sanskrit scripture. (A link to the English and other language version of the website will also be developed)
  1. For Short duration programs, team of heterogeneous members, from the different far states of the country say North, South, East, and West will be given first preference.
  1. Team of performers from same state or solo performers will be given time slot as such that the performer from one distinct region is followed by the other performer from another distinct region.
  1. In solo performance, preference will be given to that individual whose birthday falls on that day. He/She should intimate in advance and book his/her time slot and also pre-perform near the Officer in charge of the maintenance of the quality of the programs.
  1. Original works in Sanskrit will be highly appreciated.
  1. New Sanskrit serials and Films will be developed with this assumption/imagination and fancy that the Sanskrit speaking society continued to survive and grew up to the current time situation, and the every recent development in products, process, events and technology have a Sanskrit name and Sanskrit look. (Break, but with “Sanskrit based thought” continuing to think that no break has occurred, and imagining the new situation with Sanskrit mental thought).
  2. The presentation on the screen, the programs, the sound, and the advertisements should be always such that, if at any time any person switches to the channel, he/she will feel his/her mind in elevated position, and encircled by the good thoughts.
Development/discovery of suitable words and sentences in Sanskrit for the recent developments in 21st century; Research and Livelihood in Sanskrit

  1. Creativity and Innovation through Imagination: A person in 11th Century, fluent in Sanskrit and having ability to think in Sanskrit, happens to dream about the events of 21st century. How he/she will express those events to his friends? The answer to this will bring out the ability to do original Research work in Sanskrit.
  2. We need to expect that the knower of Sanskrit will also know his/her regional language and the dominant foreign language, but the objective of the development activities in Sanskrit should be to create a sound livelihood support for the knower of Sanskrit so that even if he/she knows only Sanskrit can survive himself/herself.
  3. Focus of Research: How are thoughts and the knowledge of particular language are related? How our brain is able to receive energy and motivation for a particular work from the particular “thought pool”.
Why the Kaliyuga did not liked the Sanskrit language and Culture?

Why no compromise with the purity of the Sanskrit language.

1.      We have to start with the Niche Market.
2.      There are many other channels to cater the other needs.
3.      If the donator/Investor puts any conditions, say use of non Sanskrit Brand names for advertisement on the screen, it will be better to ask them to take out their contributed money, better to let the channel go without funds, than to compromise with the purity of the language.
4.      If the Core Decision Makers continue to remain strict, in some time, they will win the supports and will get more funds and cooperation.
5.      Believe me, people love Purity, but for the sake of convenience compromises with it. The channel should never.

The Human Resource

  1. Professors and Students, Writers, Researchers, lovers of Sanskrit.
  2. All those whose livelihood is directly or indirectly dependent on Sanskrit.
  3. The core decision makers in Sanskrit will be as such.
  1. The networked organization with very little or no hierarchy will be preferred.
  2. We can hope or fancy that the “Rebirths of some of the great human resources and scholars of Sanskrit era” will help this Sanskrit channel.

  3. “Open Source Like”, Self motivated work force will help in the development of new technical word at slow pace, with discussion, debate, sentence formation, phonetics, etc.

Other Benefits of the Channel

  1. Sanskrit Brain will be very helpful for the development of Software Industry and other Soft Skills.
  2. Nationalism will develop and the problem of regionalism will suppress.
  3. Indian cultural heritage will be understood in a better way.
  4. Will help in the launching of a national “Roaming Free” Mobile Communication service, where all the Communication from the Service Provider will be in Sanskrit.
  5. Will help in the launching of the nation wide Sanskrit Radio channel.
  6. Will help in making efforts to make Sanskrit as one of the official language of UNO.
The Television Screen

1.      This is the main platform to fulfill the objectives. It should have a main screen along with many sub screens.
2.      All the screens should have eye-catching attractive look.
3.      The presentation on the screens should be vibrant and dynamic and changing according to the time and real scenario.
4.      Even the date and time presented on the screen should be as per the active Sanskrit era along with panchang.
5.      It should have a sub screen for very important news and messages.
